Abstract:
The embodiments of the invention disclose a H5-based page displaying method and terminal to reduce web page development costs, increase web page development efficiency, and implement a smooth video playback. In one embodiment of the invention, the H5-based page displaying method comprises: displaying, on a display screen of a terminal, a hypertext markup language 5 (H5) web page comprising a H5 page visible window and a video player button floating thereon; inserting video content to be displayed into the H5 page, wherein the video content is displayed in the H5 page visible window; and upon triggering display of the video content, displaying, in the H5 page visible window, the video content, and hiding the video player button on the H5 page visible window.
