Abstract:
Disclosed is a hair cleansing composition which contains (A) a cationic surfactant, (B) a long-chain aliphatic alcohol having 12-24 carbon atoms, (C) an amphoteric surfactant and (D) a nonionic surfactant that is represented by the general formula (1) below or the general formula (2) below and has an HLB of 3-17.

R3-COO-(CH2-CH2O)n-R4 (2)
(In the general formula (1) and the general formula (2), R1-R4 each represents a linear or branched alkyl or alkenyl group having 12-18 carbon atoms; and n represents the average mole number of added ethylene oxide, which is an integer of 3-60.)
