Description:

"HAIR-CLIPPER"

The present report describes a

Patent of Utility Model that generally refers to an inventive disposition, introduced in a hair-clipper, more specifically regarding to an alteration of the constructive forms for hair-clippers aiming at the external use for hair fixing.

The object of such Patent of

Utility Model consists of a hair-clipper particularly developed to be used in several types of hairstyle preparation which may be made in a practical and fast way.

The current state of art is formed by hair-clippers that throughout time have been kept unchanged in its constructive way as well as its aesthetics and also in the way of holding the hair.

Today's hair-clippers are traditionally shaped and their most common negative characteristic is the fact its efficacy depends directly on the hair physical characteristics, that is, hair volume, amount, and thickness.

Another negative characteristic of the hair-clippers from such the state of art refers to the fact that they do not allow area's professionals to use them as elements to hold the hair after they are properly held.

Thus, innovation of such Patent of Utility Model is in proposing an inventive disposition introduced in hair-clipper, which offers a more practical

hairstyle preparation, advantage that may be enjoyed by some professionals.

The hair-clipper now referred innovates as to making it easier its use and giving options on hair holding in an efficient way, irrespectively of the hair volume, amount or thickness, and whether the hair is straight or curly, thin or thick.

In this Patent of Utility Model there will be clearly showed innovations offered by the hair-clipper now proposed, as to shape, as well as hair fixing.

The present Patent of Utility

Model will be detailed with reference to the herein below referred figures, in which: figure 1 shows a perspective way the hair-clipper object of such Patent of Utility Model; figure 2 also illustrates a perspective view of a first constructive variant of hair-clipper; and the figure 3 also illustrates a perspective view, a second constructive variant of said hair-clipper.

In accordance to the hereinabove figures it is showed in the present Patent of Utility Model an inedited model of the hair-clipper 1, which is composed of two platforms, one upper 2 and one lower 3, wherein between upper 2 e lower 3 platforms there are bristles 5 or grips 5A that are used for hair fixing.

Upper 2 and lower 3 platforms fixation is done by a conventional spring and pin system

(not showed) , such components that are located in the posterior part of the holder.

When the posterior part of the present hair-clipper 1 is pressed there will be produced an opening and closing movement of the platforms 2 and 3, being the hair held between them.

Both bristles 5 and grips 5A are positioned and are intended to allow the hair held between platforms 2 and 3 to be positioned in a lift way. Hair positioning referring to bristles 5 or to grips 5A (depending on the model of the present holder) allows the professional, after initially- holding hair between upper 2 and lower 3 platforms, (as it conventionally occurs in then hair-clippers belonging to the state of art) , it proceeds to holding hair volume that falls from the holder itself, such holding occurs exactly on the extent of bristles 5 or grips 5A.

Hair volume holding that falls from holder 1, allows the professional to make the procedures in the hair volume right positioned in a lower way to the volume that has been held in the holder 1.

Such functional characteristic

(holding hair along the bristles 5 or grips 5A) allows the professional to make the procedures in a more practically in hair volume right below the initially held volume, with no need of employing pins or any other accessories .

In other words, the hair-clipper

1 incorporates proper means (not showed because they are conventional) both for making hair holding between platforms 2 and 3, and mainly counts on means (bristles 5 and grips 5A) to allow posterior volume holding for the hair previously held. Figure 1 from present Patent of Utility Model describes the hair-clipper 1, which has in its upper platform 2, as well as in its lower platform 3, a central carved opening 4 with an elongated contour, whereas the bristles 5 used for hair fixing are positioned around the whole said central carved opening 4 in a single alignment .

The first constructive variant of such Patent of Utility Model, contemplates a hair-clipper 1 that has in its upper platform 2, several rows of bristles 5 orderly disposed identical to bristles 5 contemplated in the model of the hair-clipper 1 referred in figure 1.

Bristles 5 contemplated in the hair-clipper 1 referred in both figure 1 and figure 2 (this one relating to the first constructive variant) , are essentially constituted by progressively made fine projections that come from upper face from respective upper platforms 2, it must be emphasized that in both cases the bristles 5 are part of the structure of the upper platforms -2 from which they origin constituting an essentially monoblock body.

In a more objective way, it must be understood the platform 2 (both model from figure 1, and in the first constructive variant presented in figure

2), by being manufactured, preferably by injection process, already incorporates bristles 5 integrally.

The second variant from such

Patent of Utility Model, which will be showed in figure 3, proposes a hair-clipper 1 that has, in its upper platform 2 a grip 5A alignment occupying the central part and the whole length, where each unit of grip 5A is formed by a sequential disposition of a pair of essentially triangle and elongated projections 5A' intermixed by a flexible and cut membrane
