Abstract:
A hair colouring composition or kit of parts comprises: a compound which is capable of acting as a substrate for endogenous transglutaminase in and/or on hair and which comprises a chromophore that is capable of absorbing and/or emitting light in the visible part of the electromagnetic spectrum; and a reducing agent. The composition may be used to colour hair.
