Abstract:
A hair dryer reduced in noise, size, and weight, comprising a brushless motor (30) formed of a winding unit (19) fixed inside a tubular housing (1) to constitute a stator (23), a rotor (29) installed on a blowing vane (26), and the rotor (29) disposed so as to rotate around the stator (23), wherein the size of the rotor (29) in blowing direction is selected to be sufficiently larger than that of the stator (23), and the center of the stator (23) in blowing direction matches the center of the rotor (29), whereby, even if the rotor (29) is moved slightly in blowing direction while a fan is rotating, a variation in rotating torque will not occur.
