Abstract:
A hair dyeing instrument 1 is equipped with: a comb member 10 that has a plurality of comb teeth 12; and a nipping member 20 that is rotatably mounted to the comb member 10 so as to nip hair between itself and the comb member 10, and which is capable of scooping hair in a stripe-like manner with the tips of a plurality of comb teeth 12, wherein: the comb member 10 is provided with a support member 30 which rotatably supports the nipping member 20 and a moving member 40 which is mounted to the support member 30 in a reciprocally movable manner; the support member 30 and the moving member 40 each have a plurality of first protrusions 32 and second protrusions 42; the comb teeth 12 are constituted with the first protrusions 32 and second protrusions 42; and the width of an overlap between the first protrusions 32 and the second protrusions 42 changes in response to a movement of the moving member 40 relative to the support member 30.
