Abstract:
Proposed are a hair extension which gives the sense of increased hair volume at the root and makes the hair puffy when attached to the head, a hair accessory using the same and a method for producing the hair extension. A hair extension at least comprising main fibers (1) and root fibers (2), wherein the root fibers (2) are curled fibers having a fiber length being shorter than the fiber length of the main fibers (1) and not longer than 10 cm, and the main fibers (1) and the root fibers (2) are mixed together and integrated by sewing. In a method for producing the aforesaid hair extension, the root fibers may be mixed with the main fibers and then crimped to make curls, or alternatively pre-curled fibers may be used as the root fibers and mixed with the main fibers.
