Abstract:
Provided is a hair iron with which hair can be curled around the barrel easily, while preventing the user from feeling hot or from getting burned. This hair iron (1) comprises: a rod-shaped support member (10) having a handle part (12) provided on one-end side thereof; a barrel part (20) that is provided on the other-end side of the support member (10) and that is heated by electric heating; a plurality of ring-shaped protectors (30) that are made of a heat nonconductor and that are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the barrel part (20) at predetermined intervals in the axial direction; and a plurality of comb teeth (40a) provided so as to protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the barrel part (20) such that the base parts of the respective comb teeth are aligned in parallel to the central axis of the barrel part (20).
