Abstract:
Provided is a hair iron that can handle detailed styling, and that has an excellent styling capability that makes it easy to achieve a desired style. A hair iron (1) is provided with a first holding body (10) and a second holding body (30) that are swingably linked to each other. The first holding body (10) is provided with an intake vent (13) and a discharge vent (14), and blows air from the discharge vent (14). The discharge opening (14) is provided on the rear surface side of the first holding body (10), the front surface of the first holding body being the heating surface of a first hair holding portion (11). The discharge opening includes a discharge structure that opens laterally and that blows air towards the front surface side.
