Abstract:
The present invention proposes a hair loss preventing device for anticancer treatment, wherein blood flow in the head is suppressed by using two functions of cooling and air pressure together so as to prevent hair loss. The device of the present invention may comprise an air pressure pad, a heat dissipation pad, a thermoelectric element pad, and a cooling heat conduction pad which are sequentially positioned inside a helmet housing having a hollow hemispherical shape, wherein the heat dissipation pad, the thermoelectric element pad, and the cooling heat conduction pad move toward the head by the expansion of the air pressure pad to pressurize the entire head, and cool air generated by a thermoelectric element is transferred to the head through the cooling heat conduction pad. Hair loss is advantageously prevented by reducing a blood flow rate by pressurizing the head and cooling the scalp as described above. In addition, the device of the present invention ensures the mobility of a patient undergoing anticancer treatment because the device is easily carried and allows freedom of movement while being worn by the patient.
