Abstract:

Disclosed are hair styling compositions comprising: (a) one or more latex polymers selected from acrylate latex polymers, polyurethane latex polymers, and mixtures thereof; and (b) a wax dispersion comprising: (i) particles having a volume-basis particle size distribution with peaks in the range of equal to or greater than 1 µm up to about 100 µm wherein the particles comprise at least one wax having a melting point of greater than 35C; (ii) a surfactant mixture comprising a nonionic surfactant and an ionic surfactant; (iii) an oil gellant; and (iv) water.
