Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a hair styling method and hair styling tool with which it is possible to orient hair strands in a desired direction without damage to the hair strands. [Solution] In the hair styling method, a hair styling tool 1 having a contact part 12 which contacts hair strands 110 is used to orient hair strands 110 in the predetermined direction. The hair strands 110 are raised with respect to the scalp 120 by moving the hair styling tool 1 along the contour of the head in a state in which the portions of the hair strands 110 near the scalp 120 are held against the scalp 120 by the contact part 12 while the portions of the hair strands 110 near the scalp 120 are pulled in a direction away from the scalp 120. Next, the hair strands 110 are oriented in the predetermined direction by moving the hair styling tool 1 in the predetermined direction along the contour of the head in a state in which the portions of the hair strands 110 near the scalp 120 are held against the scalp 120 by the contact part 12 while the hair strands 110 are pulled in the predetermined direction.
