Abstract:
A hair treatment method having the following step (i) and step (ii) in the stated order. Step (i): A step for applying a composition including the following component (A) to the hair. (A) A compound represented by general formula (1) or a salt thereof [in the formula, a broken line represents the presence or absence of a π bond; R1 represents a hydroxyl group or an acetoxy group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or -COOR (where R is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, or an ethyl group); and R3 represents a hydrogen atom, an acetyl group, a methyl group, or an ethyl group]. Step (ii): A step for imparting a shape to the hair while applying heat at a temperature of 140-220°C to the hair.
