Abstract:
Provided are: a haircut assistance tool with which it is possible to always cut hair to a desired length; a hair cutter used for the tool; and a haircut method. A haircut assistance tool 1 includes first and second guide parts 11, 12 disposed so that there is space between the same and the surface of the head of a haircut subject A. The haircut assistance tool is configured to cut, by a hair cutter 30, hair H along the guide parts 11, 12 while suctioning, by a suction nozzle 32, the hair H outward from a gap between the guide parts 11, 12. Due to the foregoing, it is possible to cut the hair H to a length equivalent to the spacing between the surface of the head and the guide parts 11, 12. Additionally, the haircut assistance tool 1 includes a spacing retaining member 20 that retains a predetermined spacing between the guide parts 11, 12 and the surface of the head with a tip contacting the surface of the head. As such, the surface of the head and the guide parts 11, 12 can always be maintained at the predetermined spacing without causing, in the guide parts 11, 12, bending or deforming due to pressing force or suction force of the suction nozzle 32.
