Abstract:
In conventional hairpieces, the frequent occurrence of fraying at the base part of a knitted area has posed an impediment to workability in hair implantation. This hairpiece is provided with a base part and hairs attached to the base part, wherein the base part has: a knitting yarn for forming a knitted fabric while creating a plurality of loops; and a linking yarn for linking one of the plurality of loops with another loop. In this hairpiece, the knitted fabric may be formed with a knitting yarn that is weft-knitted, and the linking yarn may be interwoven vertically. Further, in this hairpiece, the linking yarn may be configured to link one loop with another loop positioned on the same wale line.
