Abstract:
The fast flow of a gas flowing along the tube bundle of a hairpin heat exchanger
is secured and the thermal stress of a heat conduction tube is relieved. The hairpin
heat exchanger comprises a meandering heat conduction tube formed of U-shaped
tube parts and straight tube parts arranged parallel to each other. The heat conduction
tube is housed in a rectangular casing. The casing has a flat rectangular shape.
Distance pieces for holding the interval between the inner wall surface of the
casing and an apparent flat plane in contact with the heat conduction tube at a
predetermined interval are installed on the inner wall surface of the casing
continuously or discontinuously in the direction perpendicular to the straight
tube parts of the heat conduction tube. A fluid to be heated is passed through the
inside of the heat conduction tube, and a heating gas is passed through the inside
of the casing for heat exchange.
