Abstract:
The problem addressed by the present invention is to provide an alignment device that can align hairpin shaped heat exchange tubes in a route from a bender to an insertion device for the hairpin shaped heat exchange tubes. As a solution, provided is a hairpin shaped heat exchange tube alignment device provided with: a plurality of hairpin shaped heat exchange tube receiving units (42) having channel parts (44) for accommodating a plurality of hairpin shaped heat exchange tubes (20) fed in a horizontal direction from the bender such that the two legs (22) of each hairpin shaped heat exchange tube (20) face each other in the vertical direction; a plurality of positioning units (48) for turning the hairpin shaped heat exchange tubes (20) centered on the leg (22) positioned below of the two legs (22) of each hairpin shaped heat exchange tube (20) accommodated in each channel part (44) such that each of the two legs (22) of each hairpin shaped heat exchange tube (20) is positioned within a horizontal plane; and a plurality of guide units for sandwiching the two legs (22) such that the width between the two legs (22) of each hairpin shaped heat exchange tube (20) that has been positioned by the positioning units (48) matches a gap between through holes in a laminated fin through which the two legs are to be inserted.
