Abstract:
In order to prevent a halogen lamp coiled filament (3) from sagging due to the weight thereof, supporting rods (L1, L2) support the middle section thereof, while simultaneously, the supporting rods (L1, L2) are prevented from weakening due to the effect of intense heat radiating from the filament (3) and deforming by sagging under load from the filament (3).
Disposed inside a sealed glass body (2) which is horizontal when the lamp is fitted are a coiled filament (3) and power-supply rods (4A, 4B) electrically connecting and supporting the front end portion and the back end portion of the filament (3), while, on the underside of the filament (3), a pair of long and short supporting rods (L1, L2) are provided in parallel for supporting from left and right oblique directions under the filament (3) two tandem positions (P1, P2) in the middle section thereof.
