Abstract:
A hammer and a manufacturing method therefor. The hammer comprises a handle and a hammerhead at one end of the handle. The handle comprises a handle main body (4). A metal sheath (1) is disposed at a portion close to the hammerhead, of the handle. A filling protective body (3) is disposed between the handle main body (4) and the metal sheath (1). The filling protective body (3) is high-strength impact resistance engineering plastic which may be PP, epoxy resins, nylon or polycarbonate. The metal sheath (1) is a stainless steel sheath, and the sectional area of the central portion of the sheath is greater than that of each of two ends. During a strike, the metal sheath (1) can protect the filling protective body (3) from deforming and being damaged, so that the filling protective body (3) fully plays a role in protection of the handle main body (4), and accordingly, the handle main body (4) is firm and reliable, and is not easy to break and crack, thereby eliminating hidden safety risks during work; in addition, the handle main body (4) is clean and environmentally-friendly, thereby greatly extending the service life of the hammer.
