Abstract:
In order to make it possible to use a low toxicity HAN-based propellant in a thruster, the purpose of the present invention is to provide: a HAN-based propellant decomposition catalyst that is sufficiently heat resistant and stable with little change over time in the decomposition activity of the HAN-based propellant; a production method therefor; and a monopropellant thruster equipped with the HAN-based propellant decomposition catalyst. The present invention provides: a HAN-based propellant decomposition catalyst comprising a hexaaluminate oxide containing a platinum group element; a production method therefor; and a monopropellant thruster equipped with the HAN-based propellant decomposition catalyst.
