Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention

[63] Referring to the attached figures, the present invention will be explained hereinafter.

[64] Figure 1 is a perspective view representing the first embodiment of the hand carrier according to the present invention and Figure 2 is a partial exploded view for illustrating the structure of the first embodiment of the hand carrier according to the present invention.

[65] The hand earner according to the first embodiment of the present invention comprises a bottom frame (20) for supporting its under part. The upper part of the bottom frame (20) is provided with a connecting guide which connects a support- connecting member (100) with the bottom frame (20) so that the lower end part of support-connecting member (100) can move horizontally by the perpendicular movement of the support.

[66] A fixed type support (40a) is perpendicularly connected to the bottom frame (20).

Preferably, the fixed type support (40a) has a aperture perpendicular to the fixed type support (40a). The second fastener (90) may enter the aperture or may project out of the aperture. The fixed type support (40a) may consist of at least two supports to extend its length for one's interest.

[67] The first movable support (40b) is connected to the fixed type support (40a) and is movable upwardly and downwardly. The first movable support (40b) may enter the

fixed type support (40a) and has an aperture. The first fastener (50) may enter the aperture or may project out of the aperture perpendicular to the first movable support (40b).

[68] The second movable support (40c) is connected to the first movable support (40b) and is movable upwardly and downwardly. The second movable support (40c) may enter the first movable support (40b) and the grip (110) is located at the upper end part of the second movable support (40c). Preferably, the grip (110) has a button (11Od).

[69] The first fastener (50) allows the second movable support (40c) to be fixed in a fastened mode and allows the second movable support (40c) to be movable in a released mode (the specifics will be explained with regard to figures 3 and 4).

[70] The second fastener (90), under the released mode of the first fastener (50), allows the first movable support (40b) to be fixed in a fastened mode and allows the first movable support (40b) to be movable in a released mode (the specifics will be explained with regard to figures 3 and 4).

[71] Support-connecting members (100) are a pair of the left and the right and the upper end part of each of said pair is connected to each other. The upper end part of the support-connecting members (100) is connected to the first movable support (40b). Preferably, mside the fixed type support (40a), the suppoort-connectmg members (100) are connected to the first movable support (40b). Thus, the upper end part of the support-connecting members (100) can move perpendicularly by the perpendicular movement of the first movable support (40b). The lower end part of the support- connetrng member (100) is connected to the bottom frame (20) so that the lower end part of the support-connecting member (100) can move horizontally by the perpendicular movement of the first movable support (40b). The lower end part of the support-connecting member (100) is preferably connected to the connecting guide of the bottom frame (20) and can move horizontally along the connecting guide.

[72] Wheel-connecting member (70) consists of a pair, in particular, of the left and the right. The upper end part of the wheel-connecting member (70) has an aperture connected to the support-connecting member (100). A central part of the wheel- connecting member (70) is fixed on the bottom frame (20). Shaft (160) may be used as a fixing means. The lower end part of the wheel-connecting member (70) is provided with a wheel (80). The wheel-connecting member (70) can be rotated about its central axis fixed on the bottom frame (20) by moving the lower end part of the support- connecting member (100) horizontally, preferably along the connecting guide of the bottom frame (20), which allows the wheel (80) to be folded or unfolded.

[73] Referring to attached figures 3 and 4, it will be specifically explained hereinafter how to change the position of the wheels by pulling the grip with pressing the button.

[74] As shown in Figure 3, when pushing down the grip (110) with pressing the botton

in the grip (110), the first fastener (50) is released so that the second movable support (40c) moves downward. The released first fastener (50) moves down and pushs the second fastener (90) and then, the second fastener (90) is released (the specifics will be explained below with respect to figure 7). As the locking is released, as shown in figure 4, the first movable support (40b) moves downwardly and thus, two support- connecting members (100) move in the direction of allowed. That is, the second fastener (90) moves downward and pushes the upper end part of the support- connecting member (100), that is the part connected to the first movable support (40b). It causes the lower end part of the support-connecting member (100) to move perpendicular along the connecting guide connecting to the bottom frame (20) and thereby the angle between the two support-connecting members (100) increases.

[75] Support-connecting members (100) are connected to the upper end part of the wheel-connecting member (70) by shaft (150). Because the lower end part of the wheel-connecting member (70) has a wheel (80) and the central part of the wheel- connecting member (70) is connected to the bottom frame (20) by shaft (160), the wheel-connecting member (70) begins to rotate about the shaft (160) inside. Finally, even the second movable support (40c) may enter the fixed type support (40a) and thus the wheel (80) is completely unfolded into the bottom frame (20).

[76] Figure 5 is a partial exploded view for illustrating the detailed structure of the grip

(110) used in the hand carrier according to the present invention. As shown in the figure, grip bar (11Oe) is connected to the mam body of the grip (110a, 110b) so that they can move together when the button (11Od) is pressed.

[77] Figure 6 illustrates the release of the first fastener when the button of the grip is depressed and the grip (110) is pulled down, in the hand carrier according to the present invention. Figure 7 shows it in order in detail.

[78] As shown in Figure 6, the button (11Od) of the grip (110) is depressed, the grip bar

( 11 Oe) connected to the button (11 Od) and the underside plate of the grip ( 11 Of) move downwardly together (see the first stage of Figure 7). This is because as shown in Figure 5 , the button (11 Od) , grip bar ( 11 Oe) and the underside plate of the grip ( 11 Of) are connected with one another.

[79] The underside plate of the grip (11Of) pushes the vertical catch (50c) of the first fastener (50) (the second stage of Figure 7) and the power is given in the downward direction by this catch (the third stage of Figue 7). At an oblique angle, the pressed vertical catch (50c) is contacted with the horizontal catch (50d) having a spring (50e) which has a role to fix the support. For example, the lower end part of the vertical catch (50c) may be contacted with the upper end part of the horizontal catch (50d) at an oblique angle of about 45 degree (see the first and the second stage of Figure 7).

[80] Therefore, if the vertical catch (50c) moves downward, the horizontal catch (50d) is

subjected to move horizontally by this. Accordingly, the side end part of the horizontal catch (5Od) which projected out of the aperture of the first movable support (40b) enters the aperture and the locking is released (the third stage of Figure 7). Thus, the second movable support (40c) moves downdard (the fourth stage of Figure 7).

[81] Figure 8 illustrates the release of the first fastener (50) in one embodiment of the hand carrier according to the present invention.

[82] Figure 9 is a partial exploded view representing the example of the first fastener

(50), which can be used in the hand carrier according to the present invention. As shown in Figure 9, the first fastener (5) may consist of mam body (50a), cover (50b), vertical catch (50c), horizontal catch (50d) and spring (50e). The mam body (50a) and the cover (50b) is not essential. The first fastener (50) may consist of a ball which can project out and spring only.

[83] Figure 10 illustrates the release of the second fastener (90) by the release of the first fastener (50), in one of the embodiments of the hand carrier according to the present invention.

[84] As in the same manner in Figure 7, the first fastener (5) moves downward and pushes the the vertical catch (90c) of the second fastener (90) (the second stage of Figure 10) and the power is given in the downward direction by this catch (the third stage of Figue 10). At an oblique angle, the pressed vertical catch (90c) is contacted with the horizontal catch (90d) having a spring (90e) to have a role to fix the support. For example, the lower end part of the vertival catch (90c) may be contacted with the upper end part of the horizontal catch (9Od) at an oblique angle of about 45 degree (see the first and the second stage of Figure 10).

[85] Therefore, if the vertical catch (90c) moves downward, the horizontal catch (9Od) is subjected to move horizontally by this. Accordingly, the side end part of the horizontal catch (90d) which projected out of the aperture of the fixed type support (40a) enters the aperture and the locking is released (the third stage of Figure 10). Thus, the second movable support (40c) moves downward (the fourth stage of Figure 10).

[86] Figure 11 illustrates the example of the second fastener (90) used in the hand carrier according to the present invention. As shown in Figure 11 , the second fastener (90) may comprise a main body (90a), cover (90b), vertical catch (90c), horizontal catch (9Od) and spring (9Oe). The main body (90a) and cover (90b) are not essential. The second fastener (90) may consist of a ball which can project and spring only.

[87] Figure 12 shows that the wheel (80) is folded or unfolded by the vertical movement of the second fastener (90), in the hand carrier according to the present invention.

[88] As shown in Figure 10 (the fourth drawings), the second fastener (90) may move downwardly along with the first movable support (40b) in a released mode so that the upper end part of the support-connecting member (100) connected to the first movable

support (40b) inside the fixed support (40a) can move downward and the lower end part of the support-connecting member (100) connected to the connecting guide of the bottom frame (20) moves horizontally along the connecting guide. As a result, the wheel (80) may be folded (see Figure 12). As shown in Figure 12, the lower end part of the support-connecting member (100) is connected to the wheel-connecting member (70) with an aperture at its upper end part.

[89] A central part of the wheel-connecting member (70) is fixed on the bottom frame

(20) and the lower part of the wheel-connecting member (70) has a wheel (80). Thus, the wheel may be folded by rotating the wheel-connecting member (70) about its central axis, fixed on the bottom frame (20) by moving the lower end part of the support-connecting member (100) horizontally along the connecting guide of the bottom frame (20).

[90] Figure 13 shows that a bag-connecting member using for attaching the bag is separated from the hand carrier and Figure 14 shows that the bag-connecting member is attached to or detached from the hand carrier.

[91] The bag-connecting member (30) and the bottom frame (20) have an uneven groove and they can be combined with each other. Thus, after the bag-connectmg member (30) is connected to the bag, the bag can be attached to the bag-connectmg member (30) by assemblying the bag-connectmg member (30) with the bottom frame (20). In addition, the fastening button (120) and the fixed bar for fastening button (130) are located at the bottom frame (20) of the hand carrier so that the bottom frame (20) can be assembled with the bag-connectmg member (30) through the openings in the bag- connecting member (30). The bag-connecting mamber (30) has stoppers (190a, 190b) and the stopper bar (190c) which connects the stoppers

[92] <The second embodiment of the presnt invention>

[93] Figure 15 is a perspective view representing the second embodiment of the hand carrier according to the present invention (claim 2), with a pair of supports. This hand carrier is the same as that of the first embodiment in terms of the form of the support, the fastening mechanism, the folding and unfolding mechanism of the wheel and the point that the bag-connecting member may be attached except that the fixed type support (40a), the first movable suppoort (40b), the second movable support (40c), the first fastener (50) and the second fastener (90) are disposed on the both sides and except that the upper end part of the support-connecting member (100) is provided with the support-connecting part connected to the first movable supports (40b) so that the lower end part can move horizontally by the perpendicular movement of the first movable supports (40b).

[94] <The third embodiment of the presnt invention>

[95] In addition, the third embodiment of the present invention is related to a hand

carrier with only one movable support and fastener. In this hand carrier, the movable support is connected to the fixed type support and has a grip and can enter the fixed type support. Preferably, the upper end part of the grip has a button. A fastener allows the movable support to be fixed in a fastened mode and allows the movable support to be movable in a released mode. The support-connecting members consist of a pair. The upper end parts of each of the pair are connected to each other. The upper end part is connected to the movable support, preferably mside the fixed type support and the lower end part of the each is connected to the bottom frame so that the lower end part of each can move horizontally by perpernicular movement of the movable support. Prefereably, the lower end part of the support-connecting member is connected to the connecting guide of the bottom frame so that it can move along the connecting guide by the perpendicular movement of the movable support.

[96] This hand carrier is the same as that of the first embodiment in terms of the form of the wheel-connecting member, the form of support, the fastening mechanism, the folding and unfolding mechanism of the wheel and the point that the bag-connecting member may be attached.

[97] <The fourth embodiment of the present mvention>

[98] In addition, the fourth embodiment of the present invention is related to a hand carrier with a pair of movable supports and fasteners together with a pair of fixed type supports, the movable supports and the fasteners This hand carrier is the same as that of the second embodiment in terms of the form of the support, the fastening mechanism, the folding and unfolding mechanism of the wheel and the point that the bag-connecting member may be attached except that it has only one movable support and fastener. Industrial Applicability

[99] A hand carrier according to the present invention can keep the balance safely when the wheel is unfolded. Therefore, the present invention has a merit that it can be variously used depending upon the application. For example, the carrier can comprise only one support in order to reduce the weight and the volume of the carrier or the carrier can comprise a pair of supports for more stable use. Further, the hand carrier has a separated fastener so that the movable support is fixed more safely and the carrier can be drawn more stably. In addition, a hand carrier can be freely attached to or detached from the bag. If the bag is solid, the bag can be separated from the hand carrier and be washed. That is, the bag can be separately used.
