Abstract:
A hand dryer is provided with: a housing (2) having formed therein an air suction opening (4) which sucks in air, and a nozzle which discharges the air sucked in from the air suction opening (4); a blower accommodated within the housing (2) and generating an air flow flowing from the air suction opening (4) toward the nozzle; and an air suction passage body (19) provided within the housing (2) and forming an air suction passage (13) extending from the air suction opening (4) toward the blower. The housing (2) has: a base for supporting the blower; and a cover (5) having the air suction opening (4) formed therein and adapted to be removable from a base. The air suction passage body (19) is affixed to the cover (5).
