Abstract:
A hand dryer (200A) comprises: a main body (60A) including a hand insertion portion (64A) defining a hand insertion space (62A); at least one nozzle portion (66A) which feeds an airflow toward a hand inserted into the hand insertion space (62A); and a synthetic polymer film (72A) provided on an inner surface on the hand insertion space (62A) side of the hand insertion portion (64A). The synthetic polymer film (72A) is provided with a surface having a plurality of protruding portions, a two-dimensional size of the plurality of protruding portions is in a range of more than 20 nm and less than 500 nm when viewed in the direction of a normal line to the synthetic polymer film (72A), the surface has a sterilizing effect, and the number of moles of an ethylene oxide unit contained in 1 g is more than 0.0020.
