Abstract:
This hand-drying device (1) comprises: a nozzle (30) that blows air toward a drying space (32) where a hand is to be disposed; a blowing unit (40) that sends out air blown from the nozzle (30); a hand-sensing unit (50) that senses whether or not there is a hand disposed in the drying space (32); and a control unit (60) that controls operation of the blowing unit (40) such that the air speed of the air blown from the nozzle (30) reaches a preset drying air speed when the hand-sensing unit (50) senses that a hand is present, controls operation of the blowing unit (40) such that the air speed of the air blown from the nozzle (30) reaches a preset warming air speed from the drying air speed when the hand-sensing unit (50) senses that no hand is present after having sensed that a hand was present, and prevents operation of the blowing unit after operation of the blowing unit has continued for a preset time.
