Abstract:
The present invention has: a drainage tank (18) provided with a housing provided with a hand-drying chamber into which a hand can be inserted from the outside, a high-pressure-air-flow generating device for generating an air flow, the high-pressure-air-flow generating device being provided inside the housing, a front-wall nozzle and a rear-wall nozzle for jetting the air flow generated by the high-pressure-air-flow generating device into the hand-drying chamber, a first hand-sensing sensor and a second hand-sensing sensor for sensing the presence/absence of a hand in the hand drying chamber, a control circuit for driving the high-pressure-air-flow generating device when the first hand-sensing sensor and the second hand-sensing sensor sense that a hand is present in the hand drying chamber, a water-storing part (18b) for storing drain water scattered in the hand drying chamber, and a water filling detection part (18a) into which the drain water flows when the water level of the drain water reaches a predetermined water level, the water filling detection part (18a) being shallower than the water-storing part (18b); and a drain electroconductive plate disposed above the water filling detection part (18a); the control circuit sensing that the water level of the drain water in the drainage tank (18) has reached a set water level on the basis of an electrostatic capacitance occurring in the drain electroconductive plate.
