Abstract:
The device is used manually to split the freshly extracted tooth (specially withdom ) into two or three parts at the most and get the viable pulp properly from inside the pulp chamber with the least destruction, thus we can avoid the generating heat of the other methods which affect the viability of the pulp cells also avoiding destruction of the pulp and getting it in a faster method this is done by the help of the compact and split boxes which consisting of the container and the cutting boxes.

Split boxes:

1. The container:

Contains the tooth, it is a box opened from one side and closed from the othe r. The dimensions of the open side are 3 centimeters length as well as width a n d the same dimensions for the closed side.

The distance between the two sides is 5 centimeters and thus t he depth is 5 cm

The container helps to support the tooth during splitting and prevent its jumping away during splitting.

2. Cutting box:

It cuts the tooth and it's a box with two open sides and the dimensions of each side are 2.5 cm length and width.

The distance between the two sides is 7 cm so the box depth is 7 cm.

In the middle of one side there is the cutting blade which is made of stainless steel and divides the side into two equal rectangular.

It projects from the end by 1cm in order to penetrate the tooth.

TECHNICAL FIELD :

WE USE THIS DEVICE IN MEDICAL RESEARCHES SPECIALLY IN STEM CELL RESEARCHES

THIS DEVICE IS USED TO EXTACTTHE DENTAL PULP FROM FRESHLY EXTARACTED TEETH IN ORDER TO ISOLATE THE VIABLE DENTAL PULPS STEM CELLS FROM IT TO USE IN THE RESEARCHES

BACKGROUND ART

THE FIRST ONE : NOW THERE IS A NEW ELECTRICAL DEVICE CONTAINS CUTTING BLADE THAT CUTS THE CROWN WITH COOLING IN ORDER TO REDUCE THE AMOUNT OF HEAT GENERATED , BUT IT'S NOT VALID AND VERY EXPENSIVE.

THE SECOND ONE: THE RESEARCHERS WERE USING DENTAL CONTRA TO CUT THE TOOTH, BUT GENERATES HIGH AMOUNT OF HEAT WITH POOR COOLING CAPACITY AFFECTS THE EXTRACTED PULP NEGATIVELY.

THE THIRD ONE: THE RESEARSHERS WERE USING THE COMPACT (A TOOL USED BY CARPENTER AND BLACKSMITH FOR GRABBING AND ADAPTING THINGS) TO SPLIT THE TOOTH AND SO AVOID THE GENERATED HEAT OR THEY USE ELECTRIC MACHINE DO THE SAME,

BUT THE COMPACT SMASHES THE TOOTH COMPLETELY ON THE PULP CHAMBER INSIDE THE TOOTH AND SO THE BROKEN PARTS ENTER THE PULP AND COMPLETELY RUPTURE AND RIP IT. DISCLOUSURE OF THE INVENTION :

THE DEVICE IS CONSISTED OF :

1_THE COMPACT: A TOOL USED BY CARPENTER AND BLACKSMITH FOR

GRABBING AND ADAPTING THINGS.

2_ SPLIT BOXES: CONSIST OF

THE CONTAINER: CONTAINS THE TOOTH, IT IS A BOX OPENED FROM ONE SIDE AND CLOSED FROM THE OTHER. THE DIMENSIONS OF THE OPEN SIDE ARE 3 CENTIMETERS LENGTH AS WELL AS WIDTH AND THE SAME DIMENSIONS FOR THE CLOSED SIDE

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO SIDES IS 5 CENTIMETERS AND THUS THE DEPTH IS 5 CM

THE CONTAINER HELP TO SUPPORT THE TOOTH DURING SPLITTING AND PREVENT ITS JUMBING AWAY DURING SPLITTING

IT CUTS THE TOOTH AND IT'S A BOX WITH TWO OPEN SIDES AND THE

DIMENSIONS OF EACH SIDE ARE 2.5 CM LENGTH AND WIDTH

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE TWO SIDES IS 7 CM SO THE BOX DEPTH IS 7 CM.

IN THE MIDDLE OF ONE SIDE THERE IS THE CUTTING BLADE WHICH IS MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL AND DIVIDES THE SIDE INTO TWO EQUAL RECTANGULARS.

IT PROJECTS FROM THE END BY 1CM IN ORDER TO PENETRATE THE TOOTH

HOW TO USE:

FIRSTLY

PUT THE TOOTH INSIDE THE CONTAINER SECONDLY

INSERT THE CUTTING BOX INSIDE THE CONTAINER UNTIL THE BLADE TOUCHES THE TOOTH WE WANT TO SPLIT

PUT THE TOOTH IN THE MIDDLE OF CONTAINER TO MAKE SURE THAT THE TANGENCY PLACE IS BUCCAL OR LINGUAL GROOVE OF MOLAR TEETH

THIS FOR THE LOWR MOLAR AND MOST OF UPPE WITHDOM TOOTH

FOR UPPER MOLARS WE PUT THE TOOTH WITH MESIAL OR DISTAL SURFACE ON THE CONTAINER FLOOR AND THE CONTACT LINE WITH THE BLADE IS THE MIDDLE BETWEEN PALATAL AND MESIOBUCCAL OR DISTOBUCCAL ROOT

SO THAT THE TOOTH TOUCHES THE BLADE AND THE BLADE DIVIDES IT INTO TWO EQUAL HALVES

BUT FOR THE ANTERIOR TEETH WE APPLY THE FORCE ON CEMENTO-ENAMEL JUNCTION AT THE CERVICAL AREA OF THE TOOTH FROM LABIAL SURFACE FOR CENTRAL AND LATERAL INCISORS

FOR CANNINE AT CEMENTO ENAMEL JUNCTION FROM MESIAL OR DISTAL SURFACE

THE TOOTH INSIDE THE CONTAINER MUST HAVE NO CONTACT WITH ANY WALL OF THE CONTAINER THE ONLY CONTACT POINT IS WITH FLOOR OF THE CONTAINER AND THE BLADE OF THE CUTTER

IF CONTACT WITH WALLS HAPPENED IT RESULT IN CRUSHING OF THE TOOTH INTO MANY PARTS , THE TOOTH MUST BE FREE FROM SIDES WHEN IT IT

TOUCHED BY THE BLADE

THIRDLY

WE CATCH THE SPLIT BOXES LIKE THIS WHILE MAKING SURE THAT THEY DIDN'T SLIDE FROM EACH OTHER TO ENSURE THAT THE TOOTH PLACE WASN'T

CHANGED INSIDE THE CONTAINER AS IF THE TOOTH MOVES, THE FORCES AFTER THAT WILL FALL ON ANOTHER PART OF THE TOOTH WHICH WILL LEAD TO AN UNEQUAL CRUSH.

CARRYTHEM ON THIS POSITION

THEN WE OPEN THE TWO ENDS OF THE COMPACT AND PUT THE SPLIT BOXES AS THEY ARE INSIDE THE COMPACT

THEN ROTATE THE COMPACT CLUTCH LEVER SLOWLY UNTIL YOU HEAR THE SPLITTING SOUND. AT THIS MOMENT STOP ROTATING THE LEVER

FOTRHLY

SEPARATE THE TWO BOXES FROM THE COMPACT GRIP THEN FROM EACH OTHER AND EXTRACT THE TOOTH SECTIONS AND EXTRACT THR PULP FROM THEM

FIFTHLY

WASH AND STERILIZE THE TWO BOXES FOR RE-USE , CLEAN AND DISINFECT THE COMPACT WITH THE APPROPRIATE MANNER .
