A hand-held shower head having water outflow functions switched by means of a button, comprising a shower head body (1), the shower head body (1) comprising a water outflow head portion (11) and a hand-held portion (12), a button (2) being provided at the junction of the water outflow head portion (11) and the hand-held portion (12); a water outflow switching assembly (3) is provided in the hand-held portion (12). The described structure is used to provide the water outflow switching assembly (3) in the hand-held portion (12) of a shower head, fully utilizing the space along the length of the hand-held portion (12), therefore allowing for a greater water flow through the shower head. In addition, in the shower head, a pressing lever (302) is pushed by pressing the button (2), so as to convert the axial pushing force into power for the rotation of a switch element (304), thereby driving a rotary piece (307) to rotate, so that the rotary piece (307) switches to different water inlet holes to intake water separately or synchronously; the shower head achieves the switching between different water outflow functions.
