Abstract:
A hand mounted on the end of a wrist (10) of an industrial robot has left and right workpiece holders (28a, 28b) respectively, each of which have a pair of openable fingers (30a, 30b), respectively, for holding the workpieces, separately on the left and right sides of a robot base (26), which robot base (26) has a offset adjusting mechanism (34, 26, 40, 42) that adjusts its position a predetermined distance to the left or right with respect to the wrist (10) and then secures it by fixing means.
