Abstract:
The invention relates to a hand operated fire hose, the working head of which is fitted with a nozzle mounted inside a cylindrical housing and provided with a mobile part. The mobile part comprises a central cavity designed to form the water jet and is linked with a fixed part, featuring two dispatcher cavities connected through channels with the water jet forming cavities, said water jet being either a fog stream or a straight jet. Owing to plates attached to each other by their butt joints with a gap in-between and designed so as to be rotated inside the nozzle tip, the diameter can be modified as well as the pressure and the spray angle in case of a fog stream. Due to the pressure in one of the dispatcher cavities, the nozzle moves to the desired position, depending on the selected mode, which is determined by the position of the orientation device in the water dispensing valve.
