Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a hand tool, comprising: performing dual-frequency induction hardening on a first surface of a torque outputting member (7) or a torque transmitting member of a hand tool, such that a hardened layer (4, 9, 16, 20, 24) is formed in a first depth range from the first surface of the torque outputting member (7) to the interior of the torque outputting member, or in a first depth range from the first surface of the torque transmitting member to the interior of the torque transmitting member, the hardness of the hardened layer (4, 9, 16, 20, 24) being greater than the hardness of a body of the torque outputting member or the torque transmitting member; simultaneously inputting or introducing a high frequency current and an intermediate frequency current to the same induction coil for dual-frequency induction hardening, such that the high frequency current and the intermediate frequency current simultaneously heat the first surface of the torque outputting member (7) or the first surface of the torque transmitting member; and cooling and hardening the torque outputting member (7) or the torque transmitting member. Further disclosed is a hand tool manufactured by the above method.
