Abstract:
The invention relates to creating a handle and an aesthetic design for a trivet, tray and similar service products developed in order to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and to provide novel advantages for the related technical field. Service equipment which is preferably wooden may also be made of glass, porcelain, ceramics, suitable plastic material, and metal. The invention is a method developed for providing maximum usage area with minimum losses in the edge structures of wooden trays, trivets and service structures, a straight sight angle in the edges, a handle, and an aesthetic view and a knife suitable for this method.

Claims:
CLAIMS

1. A method for creating handles and an aesthetic design for trivets, trays and service products characterized by forming preferably the wooden tray (1) by angling the knife (2) and drilling handles (1a), edges (1b), middle area (1c) and channels (1 d) and forming the tray (1) by means of the angular positions of the knife (2) and up-down movements of the blade (2a), and by processing the tray (1) in certain angles via graving parts of the blade (2a).

2. A method according to claim 1 characterized in that the knife (2) is positioned by angling such that the blade (2a) will face below, according to the shape to be formed in front of the tray (1), the handles (1a) are drilled by the graving process and optionally a middle area (1c) and channels (1d) may be drilled in the tray (1) by means of the angle of the blade (2a).

3. A method according to claim 1 characterized in that the knife (2) is angled such that the blade (2a) will face above, according to the size and the shape to be formed in side edges of the tray (1), and the edges of the tray (1b) is formed by the graving process.

4. A knife according to any of the preceding claims characterized in that it has a conical shape, the blade (2a) has the angles designed for drilling and whittling processes and the knife (2) comprises a knife haft (2b) enabling it to be attached to a machine revolving it in certain speeds for drilling and whittling processes

CREATING AN ESTHETIC DESIGN

TECHNICAL FIELD

The invention relates to creating a handle and an aesthetic design for trivets, trays and service products used for food and drink services in houses, restaurants, cafes and similar places

STATE OF THE ART

There are many kinds of appliances in various shapes used as both tray and plate for serving meals in the houses, restaurants and cafes. Many production methods are used in order to provide maximum usage area, a perpendicular sight angle, a handle and an aesthetic view with minimum volume losses in the edge structures while preparing service plates especially used in servicing meat products, particularly wooden trays, trivets and service products. The product thickness is not enough for the company logo and advertisement area in these wooden service products and this area has not an inclined angle suitable for the sight angle. Such products generally have a flat area with perpendicular angle. Also, grips and handles cannot be created without increasing the product volume and using external equipment. For example, they required a handle addition. The invention of the application is a method developed for providing maximum usage area with minimum volume losses, a straight sight angle in the edge structures, a handle, and an aesthetic view and a knife made suitable for this method.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to creating a handle and an aesthetic design in a trivet, tray and similar service products developed in order to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above and to provide novel advantages for the related technical field. The service product which is preferably wooden may also be made of glass, porcelain, ceramics, suitable plastic material, and metal. The invention is a method developed for providing maximum usage area with minimum losses in the edge structures of wooden trays, trivets and service structures, a straight sight angle in the edges, a handle, and an aesthetic view and a knife made suitable for this method.

The invention allows for having a handle without any need for an external handle or grip and with minimum losses in the present area without increasing the product volume, obtaining a surface perpendicular to the visual perspective 1.5 fold of the present thickness without increasing the product thickness and having an aesthetic edge form by means of double negative rake chamfering.

The applications of the present invention summarized briefly above and addressed in more detail below may be understood by referring to the exemplary applications defined in the appended drawings of the invention. However, it has to be mentioned that the appended drawings illustrates the typical applications of this invention only, thus it cannot be assumed that they limit the scope of the invention, because it may allow for equally effective applications.

For the ease of understanding, identical reference numbers are used in the possible cases in order to define the identical members common in the figures. The figures have not been drawn to scale and they may be simplified for clarity. It has to be considered that the members and properties of an application may be included in the other applications usefully without any need for further explanation.

Figure 1 is a front view of the wooden tray and the knife together in the handle drilling process in the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In this detailed description, preferred alternatives of creating method of a handle and an aesthetic design in trivets, trays and similar service products of the invention are described for better understanding the subject and without any limiting effect.

In the invention, forming process is carried out by angling and drilling handles (1 a), edges (1 b), middle area (1 c) and channels (1 d) in a tray (1 ) prepared for the production, by means of a knife (2). Forming the tray (1 ) by supplying it with internal and external angles is performed by the angular positions of the knife (2) and up-down movements of the blade (2a), and by processing the tray (1) in certain angles via graving parts of the blade (2a). As seen in the Figure 1 and Figure 2, the knife (2) is positioned by angling such that the blade (2a) will face below, according to the shape to be formed in front of the tray (1) and the handles (1 a) are drilled by the graving process according to the sizes of the shapes to be performed and sizes of the trays (1 ). Optionally a middle area (1 c) and channels (1 d) may be drilled in the tray (1 ) by means of the angle of the blade (2a).

As seen in the Figure 3 and Figure 4 of the invention, the edges of the tray (1 b) are formed by graving and by angling the blade (2a) according to the desired size and the form in the edges of the tray (1 ) such that the blade (2a) of the knife (2) faces above. The channels (1d) on the tray (1) are graved by horizontally positioning the knife (2).

As seen in Figure 5 and Figure 6, the knife (2) has a conical shape and blade (2a) is designed in suitable angles for drilling and whittling processes. The knife (2) is attached from its haft (2b) to a machine revolving it in certain speeds for drilling and whittling processes. The knife (2) also engraves branding logos and indications on the tray (1).

By way of preceding descriptions, the invention allows for an extended edge surface perpendicular to sight angle without increasing the product height, a grip area and internal handle without increasing the width and length of the product, i.e. handle drilling, and both top edge and bottom edge chamfering processes by means of one edge chamfering milling cutter (2).
