Provided is a handle-type connection device for a collapsible box pallet, the device being made lighter and able to reduce weight when carrying a front surface board and a back surface board and being able to prevent plastic bending deformation of the bearing plates and hold the connection between surface boards firmly and stably. The handle-type connection device is configured from: bearing plates (60, 61) obtained from a pair of left and right thin plates disposed at a fixed interval on the upper part of one surface board (2, 3) forming a corner where a front surface board (2) or a back surface board (3) intersects with a left or right side surface board (4); a reinforcing member (7) that connects the left and right bearing plates (60, 61) to each other; a surface board-connecting latch rod (9) supported so as to be able to slide in the horizontal direction passing through the left and right bearing plates (60, 61) and also so as to be able to rotate; and a handle (91) attached to the latch rod (9). The upper edges of the paired left and right bearing plates (60, 61) are firmly fixed to an upper frame (2a) of the surface board (2 or 3).
