Abstract:
A handling implement is described which comprises a pair of jaws (1) formed from a single layer of sheet material and hinged to one another at a fold line (4) in the sheet material. Another handling implement, is described which comprises a pair of jaws (1) formed from a single layer of sheet material, each jaw comprising a pleat (9) in the sheet material. A method of forming such a handling implement is also described, comprising the steps of cutting a plan from a single piece of sheet material, folding the plan to form a pair of pockets (2), and providing as least one fold line between said pockets.
