Abstract:
The present invention relates to a way of solving errors due to a mismatch between a hyper frame number (HFN) and a packet data convergence protocol sequence number (PDCP SN) possessed by a terminal and a base station due to a handover failure if the terminal performs a handover between cells in a wireless communication system. In addition, the present invention suggests how a handover procedure is performed if the terminal performs a handover from a macro cell to a closed subscriber group (CSG) cell shared by several carriers in the wireless communication system. Accordingly, the terminal and the base station may communicate without a malfunction even if a handover is not properly performed, and the terminal may perform a handover to an accessible cell even if the handover is performed from the macro cell to the CSG cell shared by several carriers.
