Abstract:
An on−cage handrail for an elevator comprises a handrail (110) disposed on an elevator cage (2), a support frame (4) supporting the handrail (110), and a fixing pillar (6) for fixing the support frame (4) to the cage (2). Further, the handrail (110) includes side handrails (120, 130) disposed above the cage (2) in parallel with the two opposed side surfaces of the cage (2), and a back handrail (140) disposed above the cage (2) perpendicularly to the side handrails (120, 130). Further, of the handrail (110), at least the side handrails (120, 130) have adjusting means (26, 30) capable of adjusting the height, and each handrail (110) has receiving means (32, 34) capable of being received on the upper surface of the cage (2) by being horizontally folded.
