Abstract:
The invention relates to a hands-free device (1) of a telephone station with a sender signal attenuation device (15), a receiver signal attenuation device (17) and a attenuation control device (23). The inventive hands-free device has a measured signal generator (27) for generating a predetermined sequence of measured signals with a substantially lower level vis-à-vis a useful sender signal. A signal accumulator (31, 33) records the entire signal level. An evaluation means determines a transmission characteristic of a conductor hybrid (9) of the telephone station by means of correlation analysis.
