Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a hands-free electric motor scooter. An electric motor scooter includes a controller (13) integrating various sensors such as a gyro sensor, a battery (12), and a bottom housing (10) incorporating a motor (11), wherein wheels (14) are mounted at both sides of the bottom housing (10) so that the electric motor scooter runs by reading the inclination angle of the body of a rider. A steering housing (30) is mounted on the bottom housing (10), a saddle (40) is mounted at an upper portion of the steering housing (30) in the steering housing (30), a steering shaft (41) stands at the lower portion of the steering housing (30) so as to be assembled with a steering jig (50), wherein the steering shaft (41) is assembled with a press plate (43) at the lower portion thereof, a horizontal protrusion portion (44) is formed at one side of the press plate (43), and a control rod (45) is mounted at the lower portion of the horizontal protrusion portion (44). A stopper (42) is mounted in the center of the steering shaft (41) so as to prevent the deviation of the steering shaft (41) from the steering housing (30); a fitting hole (51) is formed at one side of the steering jig (50) so as to be fitted with the steering shaft (41), a micro-switch (63) is mounted at the rear portion of the fitting hole (51) so as to control the operation of the motor (11). A potential meter (60) is mounted in a mounting hole (53) in front of the fitting hole (51) so as to control direction conversion, a control plate (61) formed with an elongation hole (62) is mounted at the upper portion of the potential meter (60); therefore, the press plate (43) presses the ground stick (64) of the micro-switch (63) and the control rod (45) is inserted into the elongation hole (62) of the control plate (61), when the steering shaft (41) is assembled into the fitting hole (51) of the steering jig (50).
