Abstract:
A handwritten signature verification system and method using an identification code are disclosed. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a signature terminal, which is an electronic terminal in which an electronic document generation application according to a handwritten signature is installed and comprises: a basic document management unit for displaying a basic document for financial transactions requested and received from a document server; a handwritten signature input unit for receiving a handwritten signature corresponding to a signature input field of the basic document; a feature value extraction unit for extracting a feature value for the handwritten signature; an identification code generation unit for generating an identification code including the feature value; and a signature document generation unit for generating an electronic signature document by embedding a handwritten signature image of the handwritten signature and the identification code at a predetermined location in the basic document, and for transmitting the electronic signature document to the document server.
