Abstract:

A handy mop configured in such a manner that the connection between a grip section and a mounting section on which the mop body is mounted and supported is not disengaged during cleaning work. A handy mop (1) comprising: a mop body (2) having a pair of mop body portions (2a, 2a); a mounting section (10) having an insertion body (15) and a pair of mounting prongs (11, 11) inserted in mounting gaps in the mop body sections (2a, 2a); and a grip section (20) having a retaining side surface (22) for forming an insertion space (22a) in which the insertion body (15) of the mounting section (10) is inserted. A side surface opening (23) is formed in the retaining side surface (22) of the grip section (20), and a side surface protrusion (19) which engages with the side surface opening (23) is formed on the insertion body (15) of the mounting section (10). A spring region (24) is formed on the retaining side surface (22) of the grip section (20). When the insertion body (15) is inserted into the insertion space (22a), the spring region (24) is bent by being pressed by the side surface protrusion (19) of the insertion body (15).
