Title:
HARD SOAP WITH ADDITIVES TO REDUCE CRACKING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1995/027032
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
It has been found that esters of the general formula (A) where 1+b+c = 2-13, d+e+f = 2-12, R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5, R6, R7, R8 are at least 1x Me, Et, otherwise H, are eminently suitable for preventing cracking in hard soaps. Accordingly, the use of esters of the general formula (A) is proposed as additives in hard soaps to reduce cracking and a hard soap is disclosed having a content of 0.1 to 10 wt %, in relation to the total mass, of one or more esters of the general formula (A) as a means of reducing cracking.
