Abstract:

A hardness computing device (20) computes hardness information, which is information on hardness at a measurement position, on the basis of the detection result of a current value or a voltage value that is detected by a detection coil (15) in response to the application of a magnetic field to a measuring object. The hardness computing device comprises: a feature-amount calculating unit for calculating a feature amount, which changes according to hardness at a measurement position, on the basis of a detection result detected when a first alternating field having a first frequency and a second alternating field having a second frequency lower than the first frequency are applied to the measuring object; and a hardness calculating unit (213) for calculating hardness information on the basis of the feature amount.
