Abstract:
An HMD which allows a user to capture images without having to operate an image capture unit and which requires little time for a focusing operation. The HMD extracts a region having a trigger color (CL) from an outside scene captured by a CCD (5) (SA4), and extracts a blur region, that is, a region of the image that is blurred (SA5). Once the blur region is extracted, the HMD judges if any of the boundary portions in the blur region which have the trigger color recognized above (in SA4) matches a predetermined shape (SH) stored in advance in a ROM (13) (SA6). If the above judgment (at SA6) is that there is a match (SA6:Yes), the HMD determines, from the portion that was judged above (at SA6) to approximately match the predetermined shape (SH), an image capture frame (FR) showing the range that the image will be cut out from (SA7).
