Abstract:
This head mounted display has an imaging means and an image display device and allows a user to view, on the image display device, information that is based on an image taken by the imaging means. A calibration means adjusts the positional relationship between an object observed through the image display device and display information in the field of vision of the user wearing the head mounted display, on the basis of an image of a mirror image of the user taken by the imaging means. Thus, calibration of the head mounted display can be carried out easily.
