Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a head-mounted display, a display control method and a program which allow a user to more easily grasp the approach thereof to an object therearound. A display part (36) is disposed in front of the eyes of a user wearing an HMD (12). The HMD (12) allows the user to visually confirm an area ahead of the display part (36) by controlling the display part (36) in response to the approach of the user and an object around the user to each other.
