Abstract:
A head-mounted display device (30) comprises: optical elements (33L, R) arranged in front of the eyes of the user and allowing the light related to an image presented to the user to enter the eyes of a user; and a drive mechanism for moving the optical elements along a direction intersecting with the eye direction of the user. A video display system comprises: the head-mounted display device (30); and an image supply device (10) including an image supply unit for supplying an image to the head-mounted display device, and a display position control unit for outputting a control command which operates the drive mechanism so as to change the display position of the image in the visual field of the user.
