Abstract:
Provided is a head mounted display 100 which is wearable on the head of a user, wherein the head mounted display is equipped with: a display device that is disposed on a surface on the inside of the head mounted display 100 when the head mounted display is worn on the user's head; a touch pad 140 that is disposed on a surface on the outside of the head mounted display 100 when the head mounted display is worn on the user's head, and that is capable of detecting contact with or proximity to a part of the user's body; and a display control unit that acquires image data generated on the basis of input information detected by the touch pad 140 and indicating the occurrence of contact with or proximity to the part of the user's body, and that displays the acquired image data on the display device.
