Abstract:
The present invention relieves the physical burden when a user mounts a head-mounted display on the head and uses the head-mounted display. This head-mounted display unit 1 is provided with a head-mounted display 2, and a fixing apparatus 3 whereby the head-mounted display 2 can be mounted and detached and the head-mounted display 2 can be mounted in a fixed state. The fixing apparatus 3 is provided with a base member 21, a support column 22 standing perpendicular from the base member 21, a pedestal part 23 attached to a top end part of the support column 22, a retaining member 24 attached to the pedestal part 23, a clamping implement 25, and a chin support 26, and a configuration is adopted whereby the head-mounted display 2 is detachably mounted to the retaining member 24 using the clamping implement 25.
