Abstract:
The present invention provides a head-mounted display in which the incident angle of image light can be easily adjusted. The head-mounted display is provided with: a wearing fixture worn on the head of a user; an image display device 11 having at least an image light unit for generating image light, a half mirror 51, and a casing 12; a connecting fixture for attaching the image display device 11 to the wearing fixture; a first ball joint for coupling the wearing fixture and the connecting fixture; and a second ball joint 3 for coupling the image display device 11 and the connecting fixture. The connecting fixture holds the image display device 11 in front of the eyes of the user. The second ball joint 3 rotatably holds the image display device 11 on the connecting fixture using a rotating shaft 3A extending laterally and being positioned rearward from the image display device 11 as a fulcrum. The second ball joint 3 causes the direction of the image light emitted from the image display device 11 to change.
