Abstract:
The present invention provides a head-mounted display capable of suppressing a decrease in visual recognizability by a user in response to a change in a positional relationship between an eye of the user and a display part. An HMD 1 is characterized by being provided with: a display device 2 having a liquid crystal panel 2A on which a color image is displayed by controlling the output timings of RGB lights; a mounting part 11 that is a member for mounting the display device 2 on a head of a user, and includes at least a first ball joint 6 and a second ball joint 7 that are capable of adjusting the position of the display device 2 with respect to the eye of the user; an FPGA for detecting a positional relationship between the eye of the user and the display device 2; and a CPU for displaying an image on the liquid crystal panel 2A in a display method for outputting RGB lights at output timings corresponding to the positional relationship detected by the FPGA.
