Abstract:
Provided is a head rest of which the size can be adjusted and which achieves a comfortable wearing feel in a helmet for bicycles. This head rest (100) includes: a connection part to a helmet body; a head rest body (110) that abuts a rear head part of a user, is formed of a flexible raw material, is a thin frame body with a left-right symmetrical shape, and is formed by a right frame body (114R), a left frame body (114L), and a central frame body (114C) that connects the left frame body (114L) and the right frame body (114R); and an adjustment means for adjusting the lengths of the left and right ends of the head rest body (110). The adjustment means deforms the upper and lower portions of the central frame body (114C) of the head rest body (110) to approach each other so as to adjust the lengths of the left and right ends of the head rest body (110) and is provided with a holding part that holds the shape of the central frame body (114C) that is deformed such that the upper and lower portions thereof approach each other.
